Terms of Use
These terms govern your access to yonderwall. By accessing or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use yonderwall.
United States only
yonderwall is offered and authorized only for people using it while physically located in the United States of America. By accessing the service, you represent that you are in the United States. Do not use yonderwall from another country or attempt to evade geographic access controls.
A public, ephemeral service
Everything posted to the wall is public while it is alive. By posting, you authorize yonderwall to display and transmit your post during its selected lifetime. That permission ends when yonderwall expires or removes the post, but copies made by other people while it was public remain outside yonderwall's control.
yonderwall does not store wall messages after they expire and does not provide post history or recovery. Posts may disappear sooner because of moderation, abuse prevention, maintenance, a restart, or a service failure. The service does not promise that a post will remain available for its full selected lifetime.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for every post you submit and for the consequences of posting it. You must have the right to submit the content and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. yonderwall does not pre-approve, verify, endorse, or adopt user posts. To the fullest extent permitted by law, yonderwall is not responsible for user content or for decisions made in reliance on it.
Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use yonderwall to post, request, encourage, plan, or facilitate unlawful activity. Prohibited content includes, without limitation:
- true, credible, or terroristic threats of violence, kidnapping, or injury;
- unlawful intimidation or extortion;
- speech directed to inciting imminent lawless action and likely to produce it;
- solicitation, planning, coordination, or material facilitation of terrorism, violence, or any other crime;
- fraud, unlawful stalking or harassment, unlawful obscenity, or content that unlawfully violates another person's rights; and
- any other content prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local law.
Whether speech is unlawful depends on its words, context, intent, and applicable law. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. Separate from illegality, you also may not post private information, impersonate others, spam the wall, evade abuse controls, or interfere with the service.
Removal and enforcement
yonderwall may remove any live post, restrict or end access, suspend an account, freeze posting, or flush the wall when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law, protect people, respond to abuse, or operate the service. yonderwall is not required to monitor or preserve every post, and removal does not create an archive.
Service and liability
yonderwall is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, yonderwall disclaims warranties and liability arising from user posts, user conduct, loss of posts, service interruptions, or reliance on material seen on the wall. Nothing in these terms excludes a responsibility or right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
